The Neuwerk Lake Residency is a newly (2026) established, international artist-in-residence program in Konstanz, Germany, running its inaugural edition from May 1 to June 30, 2027.
Initiated by Neuwerk eG in cooperation with the Cultural Office of the City of Konstanz, the program invites professional contemporary artists and designers to live and work in a spacious 116 m² live-in studio within a vibrant creative complex. The two-month residency focuses on artistic research, interdisciplinary exchange, and community engagement. It culminates in a 3-month public exhibition (June – September) in the historic vaulted cellar (Gewölbekeller) of the Kulturzentrum am Münster, supported by an individually agreed production budget.
