ON DURATION is a curated residency founded by Dr. Raegan Truax for artists exploring duration as artistic method, material and public praxis. Residents investigate time, endurance, body and environment within the unique landscape of Blanca (mountains, river valley, orchards and semi-desert), developing site-responsive research and practice alongside other durational artists.
Residencies take place in July-September 2026 (start dates always on the 1st of the month), for 1 or 2 months, at Centro Negra, Blanca (Spain). Open to individual artists and collectives.
Fees (per month):
• Private room in shared house €1350
• Individual apartment €1700
• Collectives (shared room, 2-4 artists) €2500–4000
Includes accommodation, studio/workspace, mentoring with Dr. Raegan Truax, documentation, weekly exchanges, praxis labs, site walks, optional workshops and participation in a multi-artist public durational event. Invitation letters available for grant applications.
